This device offers a fast and secure SD-WAN solution in a compact fanless desktop form factor, making it ideal for enterprise branch offices and mid-sized businesses. It is designed to protect against cyber threats using system-on-a-chip acceleration and industry-leading secure SD-WAN in a simple, affordable, and easy-to-deploy solution. Fortinet’s Security-Driven Networking approach ensures tight integration of the network with the new generation of security. The Security Fabric provides broad visibility, integrated AI-driven breach prevention, and automated operations, orchestration, and response across all Fortinet and its ecosystem deployments. This allows security to dynamically expand and adapt as more workloads and data are added, seamlessly following and protecting data, users, and applications as they traverse between IoT, devices, and cloud environments throughout the network.

The hardware component of the Fortinet FortiGate-60E includes 24x7 FortiCare and FortiGuard Enterprise Protection, comprising 24x7 Comprehensive Support, Advanced Hardware Replacement (NBD), Firmware and General Upgrades, Enterprise Services Bundle (Application Control, IPS, AV, Botnet IP/Domain, Mobile Malware Service, Web Filtering, Antispam, FortiSandbox Cloud including Virus Outbreak and Content Disarm & Reconstruct Service, Security Rating Service, Industrial Security Service, and FortiConverter service) for the duration of the contract.

In terms of performance, this network security appliance offers firewall throughput of 3 Gbps, IPS throughput of 400 Mbps, NGFW throughput of 250 Mbps, and Threat Protection throughput of 200 Mbps. It comes with 10x GE RJ45 ports, including 7 internal ports, 2 WAN ports, and 1 DMZ port. Additionally, it can manage up to 30 FortiAPs in total, with support for 10 tunnel connections.
